Patient Support Representative
Job Summary
We are seeking a Patient Support Representative to join our team at Pure Health. This part-time, hybrid role combines both administrative and clinical responsibilities. You’ll be the welcoming face for patients while also supporting providers during exams and procedures. We’re looking for a compassionate professional with strong customer service skills who can thrive in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.
Front Desk & Patient Support Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism.
Manage check-ins, check-outs, and scheduling.
Answer phones, emails, and patient inquiries with efficiency and care.
Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Provide support with billing questions, payments, and insurance claims.
Coordinate with healthcare staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Clinical Support Responsibilities
Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies and equipment are ready.
Record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.).
Assist providers during patient visits, exams, and procedures.
Perform specimen collection and basic laboratory preparation.
Support with injections, wound care, and other routine medical tasks.
Monitor and restock medical supplies as needed.
Provide patients with education on post-visit care and follow-up instructions.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or higher in a medical field preferred.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.
Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting strongly desired.
Proficiency with EMR systems and basic office software.
Working knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.

Work Environment
This position is based in a naturopathic medical office setting, blending front desk operations with back-office clinical support. The role involves sitting and standing for extended periods, moving between exam rooms, and occasionally lifting medical supplies or equipment.
